About the Editor, David Horowitz
A 17-year DC resident, I mourn all of the city's closed cinemas. When I'm not in a dark theater watching a film, I'm glued to the Sundance Channel or IFC, maxing out my Netflix account, or managing WJFF's Internet Operations. A member of WJFF's Steering Committee since 1997, I launched WJFF's first Web site and have presented on information technology issues at several International Conferences of Jewish Film Festivals. (Boy, can those Festival directors snore!) My other film involvements around town have included stints as co-chair of film review for DC's GLBT film festival, Reel Affirmations, serving on the coordinating committee for the DC Film Society, design of Web sites for several local filmmakers, and writing about film for Washington Review.
